Date moved in at HRI

Ready for rehoming since

March 2020

He's right for you if...

Teddy could possibly live happily with a female depending on a meet and greet. He would make a brilliant solo pet for the right owner, he has a balanced personality of wanting to play half the time and wanting to take a nap the other half.

We don't know if he has any experience with cats, this would have to be tested.

Update on 26 May 2020

Teddy is a very handsome boy in need of a new owner with husky experience who will understand how to bring out the best in him.

Teddy hadn't a great start in life, he was very underweight and nervous when he came to us but day by day his improvements have been outstanding.

Teddy needs time and patience when building trust with new people but once he does, you'll see how amazing and affectionate he is.

Teddy will require an owner with husky experience who will be committed and consistent with him. Teddy struggles to trust fully on his first encounter with people but given a little time and patience, he shows his charming loving side, he's very affectionate.

Update on 18 April 2020

Just look at how handsome this boy is and he has the most amazing blue eyes you'll ever see. Teddy hasn't had it easy in the first 3 years of his life but we're going to help him put that behind him by finding him someone special to love him and somewhere he'll be happy to call home.

Teddy will be rehomed with an owner who has a background and experience with huskies. Teddy is wary of new people and can come across all wrong but it's only because he needs to know you before he'll allow you to be his friend. Once he becomes your friend, you'll see how sweet and affectionate he is, he'll lean against you to be rubbed down or jump up and put his paws on your shoulders so you can tell him he's a good boy.

Teddy came in with a female so he might be rehomed with one depending on a meet and greet. Teddy would also be an amazing only pet, he has a lovely personality and it might be good for him to have all the attention. We don't know if he has any cat experience, this would have to be tested.

Teddy loves to get out for a walk and he's very good on his lead. Somedays Teddy likes to play when he's out and on other days, he'll make himself comfortable and just watch the world go by.

Teddy needs an owner who will give him loads of love and attention and treat him as part of the family because he's never had this before and it's a shame.

Update on 10 April 2020

Teddy had a rough life before coming to the Centre but is doing great and is now on the lookout for a new owner who has experience with huskies.

Teddy is an absolute sweetheart but he takes his time warming up to people, he'll come across as stand-offish initially but if you are patient with him, you'll see he's very friendly, affectionate and loves leaning into you to be rubbed down.

Depending on a meet and greet, Teddy may be rehomed with a female, he shares his run and plays with Zoey, the Akita he came in with. Teddy could also be an only pet, he would make a great loyal companion and a brilliant sidekick to his owner. We don't know how he is with cats, this would have to be tested.

Teddy loves to get out for a walk and he's good on his lead. He enjoys a play in the field but can sometimes be content enough to just lie down and chill out, he's not a high energy dog.

Teddy just wants all the comforts of a loving home that he has missed out on and someone he can be close to.

Update on 1 April 2019

Teddy continues to improve since he came to us with Zoey, he has put on a few pounds and is looking and feeling a lot better. Teddy wants a new and much better owner to adopt him and love him so he can put his past behind him once and for all.

Teddy is a very friendly and affectionate boy but he won't show you that when you first meet, he is slow to trust new people and takes his time warming to them. Considering Teddy had little or no people interaction before he got to the Centre, he's doing great.

Teddy shares his run with Zoey so he may be rehomed with another female depending on a meet and greet. He could also be an only pet, he loves attention and would make a great loyal buddy to the right owner. We don't know if he has any experience with cats, this would have to be tested.

Teddy enjoys playing and he loves his walks, he's very good on his lead when he's out. This young boy is looking for a special new owner that has experience with huskies, if you have the time and experience for Teddy, get in touch with the Rehoming Team now, it'll be the best decision you'll ever make.

Update on 22 March 2019

Teddy is the male husky that came in the same time as Zoey, he was extremely underweight when he came but with some TLC he's doing great now.

Teddy has a lovely personality, he's a little bit weary of people initially but once he gets to know you he's super-friendly and affectionate. This whole people interaction thing is new to him, he had little or no contact with anyone before he came to the centre.

Teddy may be rehomed with a female depending on a meet and greet, he gets along great with Zoey. We don't know how he is with cats, this would have to be tested.

Teddy is great on his lead despite not having any experience before now, he loves to get out for a walk. He enjoys playing with toys when he's in the yard or on the trampoline. He loves people and attention, he leans in with all his bodyweight to be rubbed down and he hums a little to let you know you're getting the right spots for him.

Teddy would be best suited to an owner who has experience with huskies, he is an amazing boy who had a bad start in life and deserves only the best for his future.

Update on 11 March 2019

Teddy was surrendered with Zoey, the poor boy was also neglected, he was very underweight, just skin and bone when he arrived. He has put on a few pound and looks healthier but more importantly he's happier in himself, he even had a go on the trampoline at the weekend.

Teddy is very friendly and affectionate but it takes him a while to warm to new people, this is understandable as he hadn't much interaction with anyone before he got here. He may be rehomed with a female depending on a meet and greet. We have no idea how he is with cats, this would have to be tested.

Teddy loves attention, he adores leaning against you with all his weight and being rubbed down, you'll know by his humming that he's very happy.

Teddy would need an experienced owner and he would be best suited to a family who have teenage kids or older.

Teddy would be a great loyal and loving companion. He's looking for his fresh start at life now and we will ensure he gets the 5 star home he deserves, could that be with you?
