Update on 14 June 2020

Misty is looking for a loving home again due to an unfortunate change in circumstances.

Misty is a beautiful friendly and affectionate girl, she is small in size so would suit anyone who isn’t comfortable with a bigger husky. She’s tiny and getting on but has a huge personality with attitude.

Update on 04 February 2020

From covered in grease and oil at a scrapyard to this beauty, Misty has really come a long way. We were told she was 11 years there but honestly this lady can't be 11, we're thinking 7 to 8 years at the most.

Misty is a petite little husky, ideal for anyone who might be overwhelmed by a bigger dog. She is very very friendly, loves running around the yard and playing with her toys.

Misty gets along with the male dogs but is no push-over, she stands her ground if they play too rough with her. She is not too fond of the females, she barks at them if they get too close to her. We don't know if she has had any experience with cats, this would have to be checked out by the applicant.

Misty is a dream to walk, being slight and so good, she just strolls along enjoying the views. Misty could really settle into pretty much any scenario - active family, retired person, first dog, only dog - she would just like someone to give her the freedom and love she never had.

Update on 07 January 2020

Misty, our supposedly 11 year old husky who came to us after being chained up in a yard for dear knows how many years. We aren’t so sure she’s 11 but we have been told she was with this guy for at least 7-8 years and going by her we would agree on that age.

Misty is a little Madame, she does as she is told, she’ll come back into her run for you no problem at all and she’ll have you wrapped around her paws in no time. She is a lovely dog but mistake her cuteness because this little husky girl would kick your ass, she maybe tiny but she can handle herself with the big guys so don’t be fooled as she’s a little diva.

She’s a lovely dog and would be suited to a family home with older children and the right male dog or she could happily live as an only dog as long as she had something to do so may suit an active family.

Update on 11 December 2019

Misty is the dog who was chained up in the yard day and night without any interaction only to be fed and given water.
I can’t imagine chaining any dog up never mind for 11 years!

When she came to us we thought she was a lot younger but someone knew her and she is 11 but she is full of life and is the sweetest dog you’ll meet. She can also stand up for herself when needs be especially if she doesn’t like the dog then they will hear her.

She’s actually very quiet and keeps herself very much to herself so I think she would be suited as an only dog and have all the attention or with a male for company as she was with a rottweiler in the yard, this could be why she is quiet.

Update on 28 November 2019

She is an adorable 7-8yr old female however she thinks she’s a lot younger. For a dog that was left on a chain for a very long time she is an absolute gem.

She is great to walk on the lead and just wants to have loads of fun with some human and doggy friends. She would need a home with an active family who would already have a dog, she is great with males but bit of an attitude with females.

Update on 22 November 2019

Misty is the loveliest, cheekiest little husky at the centre, shes 5-6 gets on with all males but has attitude when it comes to the females. She loves playing and could do for hours so I definitely think she needs a home with another dog as well. She’s super cute and goes into her run without a bother, she’s also very clean.

She loves her toys and has the best personality, she’s the one who was on a chain in the yard x

Update on 06 November 2019

Welcome Misty
She’s an 11 year old husky and isn’t she gorgeous.

Misty was living on a chain for the last 3 years with another dog in a yard and we aren’t sure if they had shelter or not!

At 11 years of age Misty should not be in a run in a rescue, she needs a loving home and a family to spoil her.

She’s a lovely girl who is very friendly and good with other dogs, we don’t know how she is around children but I don’t think she’ll be a problem and we don’t know about cats either sorry.

We do think he would suit any family and if you can help out it would be much appreciated.
