3 August 2020

He's right for you if...

Bear would make a great only pet too, he would love all the attention.

Bear is a big boy so unfortunately he won't be rehomed with small children, he might knock them over while trying to play with them. Bear is brilliant on his lead and loves his walks.

Update on 08 September 2020

We can't believe Bear is still with us, he should have easily found his new home by now but he hasn't even had a Meet & Greet. This boy has definately been overlooked by all Akita lovers out there and it's a shame, he is an amazing dog and still young with so much to offer.

Bear will need an owner who has experience of the breed or perhaps already has one. He could possibly be rehomed with a female pending a successful Meet & Greet.

Bear has a great personality, he's very playful and friendly. As an only pet, he would be brilliant too, he loves people and attention. We don't know how he is with cats, the applicant would have to test this responsibly.

Unfortunately, we can't rehome Bear with small children, he's just too big and he might knock them over unintentionally while trying to play.

Bear is great on his lead, very gentle and he loves going out for a walk. Bear has a lot of love to give to his new owner, don't keep him waiting anymore, get in touch with the Rehoming Team and come meet him.

Update on 28 August 2020

This gorgeous big softie is in need of a new home with an experienced akita owner, someone who will appreciate his personality and ways.

Bear is super friendly, he loves spending time with people and getting lots of attention. He could possibly be rehomed with a female depending on a meet and greet. He could also be a fantastic only pet, he's full of charm and has a brilliant temperament. We don't know how he is with cats, this would have to be tested responsibly.

Bear would not be suited to a family with small children on account of his size, he wants to play but forgets how big he is and would only knock them over. Bear is great on his lead, easy to walk and loves to get out and about.

Bear will make the perfect addition to his new owner's life, he's ready and waiting for the right one to come and get him.
